Cahokia o Cachokia, es un yacimiento arqueológico amerindio situado cerca de Collinsville , en la llanura del río Misisipi en el suroeste de dicho estado, cerca de la ciudad de San Luis . Está formado por una serie de montículos o túmulos artificiales de tierra.
Cahokia es el mayor yacimiento relacionado con la cultura misisipiana, que desarrolló una avanzada sociedad en el este de América del Norte antes de la llegada de los europeos.
