Kitty Hawk es un pueblo ubicado en el condado de Dare en el estado estadounidense de Carolina del Norte. La localidad, en el año 2000, tenía una población de 5897 habitantes en una superficie de 21.3 km², con una densidad poblacional de 141.2 personas por km².[2]Es famosa por ser la ciudad donde los hermanos Wright realizaron el primer vuelo de la historia.[3]
Kitty Hawk se encuentra ubicado en las coordenadas 36°4′37″N 75°42′17″O. Según la Oficina del Censo, la localidad tiene un área total de 21,3 km² , de la cual 21,2 km² es tierra y 0,1 km² es agua.
