Biberwier est une commune de 640 habitants dans le district de Reutte en Tyrol. La commune se trouve dans le district judiciaire de Reutte. Le village de rue est situé au bord sud de la tourbière de Lermoos, entre un versant montagneux et le paysage de chutes de pierres du Fernpass dans les Alpes tyroliennes. Le territoire de la commune est traversé par la Loisach, qui prend sa source à l'ouest du village. La commune est proche de la frontière allemande, au bord des montagnes Wetterstein, et est visible depuis le Zugspitze.
