Inzing est une commune de 3994 habitants dans le district d'Innsbruck-Land en Tyrol. La commune est membre de l'alliance climatique du Tyrol et se trouve dans le district judiciaire de Telfs. Inzing est située dans la vallée de l'Inn entre Innsbruck, ou Zirl à l'est, et Telfs, ou Hatting à l'ouest. Au sud du village se dresse le Rangger Köpfl, au nord se trouve le Zirler Berg. Le point le plus élevé de la commune se trouve au sommet de la Peiderspitze à 2808 m d'altitude dans les montagnes du Sellrain du Nord.
