Café Oud Gemeentehuis - De Leute porte sur sa façade l'année 1627, ce qui indiquerait une longue histoire de consommation de bière. Le café porte le nom 'Oud Gemeentehuis' car le conseil municipal d'Oeren se réunissait dans une salle de cette auberge jusqu'à la fusion des communes en 1971. Il est tout à fait possible qu'il y ait aussi un lien entre ces réunions et 'De Leute'.
