Le Canal du Centre est un canal belge qui relie le canal Charleroi-Bruxelles près de Seneffe au canal Nimy-Blaton-Ponnes à Nimy, près du Grand Large. Il a une longueur totale de 20,9 km.
Inscrit au patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO depuis 1998, le Canal du Centre est un exemple unique d’archéologie industrielle en Belgique. Les quatre ascenseurs à bateaux de cette route de dix kilomètres de long sont toujours utilisés pendant la promenade touristique en bateau sur le canal. Cependant, la navigation d’aujourd’hui se déroule le long d’une route nouvellement creusée qui mène au pont-canal et au gigantesque ascenseur à bateaux de Strúpy-Thieu.
