Juste derrière la Maison de la voiture, à côté d'un étang où la Winge se jette avec un important dénivelé, nous tournons à droite. En raison des nombreux moulins à eau qui faisaient tourner la Winge jusqu'au début du 20e siècle, ce petit affluent de la Demer est également appelé 'Molenbeek'. Le paysage de vallée témoigne d'une intégrité rare selon les normes flamandes, avec une faune et une flore riches. Ainsi, nous pouvons trouver dans la vallée marécageuse de la Winge, entre autres, des orchidées sauvages.
