Le marché annuel d'été a lieu le dimanche le plus proche du 29 juin. Il comprend le marché traditionnel et la foire, l'examen des moutons, les veaux blanc-bleu
et les chevaux. De plus, il y a un circuit de vélo et diverses attractions. Tous les 50 ans, à Sint-Lievens-Houtem et à Sint-Lievens-Esse, les fêtes de Saint-Livinus sont organisées avec un véritable défilé ! La prochaine édition approche : 2007 !
