Le domaine récréatif provincial De Schorre est un exemple de reconversion réussie d'une excavatrice de 75 ha en une zone offrant des possibilités de loisirs actives. Sports nautiques, mur d'escalade, terrains de sport, aire de jeux et sentiers de randonnée avec de beaux points de vue en sont les atouts. Un tiers de la zone est resté une zone naturelle et un lieu de rassemblement prisé pour les demoiselles, les libellules, les grenouilles et les oiseaux d'eau.
