RAVeL Ligne 156 coïncide avec l'ancienne ligne de chemin de fer 156 d'Anor en France via Chimay et Mariembourg jusqu'à Hastière. Le tronçon Hermeton-sur-Meuse - Mariembourg a été démoli en 1978. Sur le tracé, un chemin de randonnée et de cyclisme RAVeL a été construit en asphalt.
