La maison Dochain est également appelé le « Manoir ». Il s’agit d’une ancienne habitation comprenant à l’origine un restaurant et un hôtel de voyageurs. L’édifice a été construit aux XVIIe et XIXe siècles. Il est cédé à la famille Dochain qui l’occupe jusqu’en 1615. C’est à cette date qu’il est ravagé dans un incendie. Le manoir est reconstruit un an plus tard par les Dochain sur deux niveaux. Notons que le millésime est visible sur les ancres du second étage.
La maison est ensuite modifiée à de nombreuses reprises dès la deuxième moitié du XIXe siècle. C’est ainsi que les fenêtres du rez-de-chaussée ont été transformées en portes dotées d’un balcon et garde-corps en fer forgé. On peut y reconnaître les initiales de Jean Dochain ainsi que les dates 1616 et 1878.
