Le jardin s'appelle Shin Kai Tei. Shin signifie 'profond, lucide, érudit'. Shin fait allusion à l'histoire riche et est synonyme de tradition. Shin symbolise également le riche passé de ce lieu en tant que jardin du chalet royal. Kai signifie 'mer, océan'. Tei signifie 'jardin, sanctuaire'. Un jardin pour y retrouver la paix, s'y fondre dans la nature. Le Shin Kai Tei est un jardin de promenade, le magnifique étang en forme de tortue se trouve au coeur du parc.
Pendant les vacances scolaires belges (à l'exception des vacances de Noël et de carnaval), ouvert tous les jours.
