Site proposé comme zone humide d'intérêt biologique. Zone noyau de la zone de protection spéciale des oiseaux sauvages de Malchamps. La réserve est située au sud-ouest du plateau des Hautes-Fagnes, sur des roches cambriennes (Revinien). C'est un ensemble de tourbières et de landes, précieux témoins de ce qu'était jadis le paysage ouvert et la végétation basse de la région située entre Sart-lez-Spa et Remouchamps. Superficie:5ha19a.
