Paysages, forêts et châteaux. Rien ne laisse supposer que cette magnifique forêt à Beernem était, jusqu'au XVIIIe siècle, une lande désolée. Le comte Henri de Meeus y fit construire un château un siècle plus tard et défricha le rude 'Bulnas Campas'. En 1904, le domaine entra en possession de la famille noble Lippens, qui fit aménager le parc environnant du château. Depuis 1970, c'est un domaine provincial (327 ha).
