Le long du quai de la Voirie sur la gauche vous apercevez au bout un batiment en briques rouges avec une tour carrée. Il s'agit du restant d'un ensemble plus vaste datant de la seconde moitié du 19ième siècle appelé la Ferme des boues où les déchets organiques des bruxellois étaient stockés. Ces déchets étaient évacués par péniches vers les campagnes où ils servaient de fumure.
