Cette aire de pique-nique est située à la chapelle forestière de Wildenburg.

La chapelle forestière de Wildenburg a été construite en 1877 sur ordre de la famille van der Bruggen. La chapelle se dresse là à la mémoire du baron Charles van der Bruggen qui a été assassiné en 1875 à Wildenburg par des braconniers sauvages. Il a vécu dans le château "blauwhuis" à côté de l'église et a fait construire le château "Wildenburg" en 1860, qui a été démoli en 1985.
