Le Fonteinpad et la Fonteinstraat sont de longues rues droites qui traversent le quartier de Wijnendale.

Il est pavé et est souvent utilisé par les cyclistes pour éviter la N33 et Diksmuidebaan très fréquentées.

C'est aussi un chemin agréable pour les promeneurs et surtout pour les flâneurs . Près du château se trouve la chapelle de la Vierge Marie et la glacière. Il y a un certain dénivelé sur le pont dû à la proximité du Ruidenberg .
