Ce pont sur le Hoyoux a été construit en 1750 . Il doit son nom aux chaînes qui fermaient le pont la nuit.
Le pont a été construit après la crue du Hoyoux qui a détruit les 22 ponts traversant la rivière en 1749 .
Le pont mesure 4,55 mètres de large et possède une belle arche surbaissée avec une ouverture de 12,10 mètres. L'accroche-regard est la balustrade en fonte du 19ème siècle. En amont du pont se trouve une arche surbaissée où le Hoyoux continue de couler sous terre.
