La bataille de Marcellae s'est déroulée en 756 entre les armées du khanat bulgare du Danube et de l'Empire byzantin à Markeli, près de la ville de Karnobat dans le sud-est de la Bulgarie. Elle s'achève par une victoire byzantine, obligeant les Bulgares à négocier une trêve qui sera de courte durée.
