Le canal de Lachine est un canal traversant la section sud-ouest de l'île de Montréal entre le lac Saint-Louis et le Vieux Port. Il a joué un rôle important dans le développement de la métropole et a été désigné comme lieu historique national du Canada en 1996. Une piste cyclable et pédestre longe aujourd’hui les berges, et le canal est rouvert à la navigation de plaisance depuis 2002.
