Le vol Alitalia 404 parti de Milan à destination de l'aéroport international de Zurich s'est écrasé le 14 novembre 1990 à 19 h 11 UTC à proximité de Weiach, commune du canton de Zurich en Suisse. Le Douglas DC-9 a percuté le Stadlerberg à environ 8 km de la piste, avec 46 personnes à bord, dont aucune n'a survécu.
L'accident s'est produit pendant la phase d'approche vers l'aéroport de Zurich. Il est dû à la panne d'un récepteur ILS ayant entraîné une mauvaise évaluation du plan de descente par le commandant de bord, assorti du non respect des procédures d'approche et d'une mauvaise coordination de l'équipage.
