Heiligenberg est une commune de Bade-Wurtemberg , située dans l'arrondissement du Lac de Constance, dans la région Bodensee-Oberschwaben, dans le district de Tübingen.
Des vestiges d'activité humaine remontant à l'âge de la pierre ont été retrouvés sur le territoire de la commune. La christianisation du village, entreprise par les moines de l'abbaye de Saint-Gall, remonte à 600. On ignore si le toponyme remonte à cette époque ou s'il désigne un sanctuaire païen pré-chrétien.
