La Waldburg est le château ancestral des intendants, des comtes impériaux et plus tard des princes impériaux de la maison de Waldburg. Il date du 12ème siècle et se dresse sur la marche de la commune de Waldburg dans le district de Ravensburg, s’applique comme l’un des bâtiments médiévaux les mieux conservés, et est l’un des points de repère et le point culminant de la Haute-Souabe.
