Oberndorf est une commune au bord de l'Oste dans la municipalité de Land Hadeln dans le district de Cuxhaven en Basse-Saxe. Le chef-lieu d'Oberndorf, situé à gauche de l'Oste, comprend également Bentwisch, situé à droite de l'Oste.
La commune d'Oberndorf est une station balnéaire et se compose, d'un côté de l'Oste, des quartiers d'Oberndorf, Laak, Braak, Ahrensflucht et Ahrensfluchter Moor. De l'autre côté de l'Oste se trouvent les parties de la commune Bentwisch, Zollbaum, Hasenfleet, Niederstrich, Niederstricher Deich, Moordeich, Moorstrich et Schwarzenmoor.
