Cranz est un arrondissement de Hambourg situé à l’extrême ouest de l’arrondissement de Hambourg-Harburg sur la rive sud de l’Elbe. C’est une destination populaire pour un voyage des hamburgers.
Le village est situé sur les rives de l’Elbe et de l’Este et est géographiquement le point le plus oriental de l’Altes Land. C’est pourquoi la culture des fruits est l’activité principale ici. Les bâtiments sont situés presque exclusivement sur et sur les digues de l’Elbe et d’Este.
