Günnigfeld est un quartier de Bochum. Il se situe au nord de l'ancienne ville de Wattenscheid, maintenant dans le district de Wattenscheid, et borde Gelsenkirchen et Herne.
Auparavant, au sud de Günnigfeld se trouvait une installation minière de la houillère de Hannover. Aujourd'hui, à cet endroit se trouve l'espace vert Kruppwald. Les ouvriers vivaient dans la « colonie de Hannover » avec les maisons de mineurs encore existantes. On peut les trouver dans le groupe de rues portant des prénoms masculins.
