Kolumba est le musée d'art de l'archidiocèse de Cologne et, avec le musée Wallraf-Richartz, le plus ancien musée de Cologne. Le nouveau nom repose sur le nouveau bâtiment inauguré le 15 septembre 2007, conçu par l'architecte suisse Peter Zumthor pour le musée à l'emplacement de l'église gothique tardive St. Kolumba, détruite par la guerre.
