La Wupper est un affluent droit du Rhin dans le Land de Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie, en Allemagne. Prenant sa source près de Marienheide dans l’ouest du Sauerland, elle traverse la région montagneuse de la Bergisches Land dans le comté de Berg et se jette dans le Rhin à Leverkusen, au sud de Düsseldorf. Son cours supérieur s’appelle le Wipper. Les deux noms sont liés à « tisser » et font référence au cours de torsion.
