L'école Halepaghen est un gymnase avec un enseignement bilingue visant l'obtention du label d'excellence CertiLingua dans la ville hanséatique de Buxtehude, en Basse-Saxe.
En 1390, un rector scholarium a été mentionné pour la première fois comme chef de l'école du monastère local. L'acte a été découvert en 1990 par la conservatrice des archives de l'époque, Margarete Schindler, qui avait soutenu sa thèse sur l'histoire de la ville de Buxtehude auprès d'Hermann Aubin. Jusqu'alors, le « Règlement scolaire pour l'école latine de Buxtehude » de 1552, rédigé par le surintendant hambourgeois Johannes Aepinus, était considéré comme la plus ancienne preuve d'une école à Buxtehude.
