Korschenbroich est une gare de classe tarifaire 6 sur la ligne de chemin de fer Mönchengladbach-Düsseldorf. Le bâtiment de la gare, construit dans les années 1880, est inscrit sous le numéro 091 comme monument historique dans la liste des monuments de Korschenbroich.
La gare est située au nord du centre-ville de Korschenbroich, accessible via la Hindenburgstraße. Elle est desservie par la ligne S-Bahn S 8 du S-Bahn Rhein-Ruhr et les lignes de bus, faisant d'elle un nœud de transport pour les quartiers et villages de Korschenbroich tels que Raderbroich, Herrenshoff, Trietenbroich, Neersbroich et Pesch. Les lignes de bus relient Giesenkirchen, Rheydt, Wickrath et Mönchengladbach Hbf. Au nord, la Herrenshoffer Straße se connecte, traversant un quartier résidentiel. Au sud, il y a un développement mixte de commerces et de logements ; à proximité de la gare, un grand centre pour seniors est actuellement en construction, comprenant une maison de retraite et des logements assistés.
