Le château de Tecklembourg, ou simplement le Tecklembourg, est un château en ruine et le lieu du théâtre en plein air de Tecklenburg dans la ville éponyme de Tecklenburg dans le comté de Steinfurt dans le Land de Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie, en Allemagne. C’était autrefois le siège des dirigeants du comté de Tecklenburg.
Le château a probablement été construit vers 1100 par le comte néerlandais de Zutphen pour protéger l’importante route commerciale de Lübeck à Cologne en passant par Brême et Münster, afin de pouvoir contrôler cet endroit étroit et facilement visible et de pouvoir exiger des droits de douane. Plus tard, pour sécuriser les routes d’accès à Tecklenburg, une partie de la petite noblesse fut engagée comme vassaux pour sécuriser cette route, y compris les seigneurs de la maison de Marck, et les domaines de Kieseling, Horne, Meeseburg, Kronenburg, Hülshoff et Wondahl.
