Le Hebel-Gymnasium de Lörrach est le seul lycée public humaniste entre Constance et Fribourg-en-Brisgau. Traditionnellement, le gymnase Hebel, qui peut se prévaloir d’une histoire de 450 ans, s’engage envers l’idéal éducatif humaniste. L’école porte le nom du poète badois Johann Peter Hebel, qui y a lui-même travaillé comme enseignant de 1783 à 1791. Aujourd’hui, environ 590 élèves fréquentent le lycée. Avec le lycée voisin et une école secondaire, le HG forme le campus de Rosenfels.
