Le parc animalier de Dülmen a été ouvert dans les années 1860 et s’étend sur 250 hectares près de la ville, à l’ouest de la ville de Dülmen. Il se compose d’une zone paysagère de prairies, de forêts et de lacs. Les daims, les cerfs élaphes et les moutons ont élu domicile dans la vaste zone. Les étangs sont un aimant pour un certain nombre d’espèces d’oiseaux.
