Le stade d'Ostfriesland est le stade de football des Kickers Emden. Le club de football y joue ses matchs à domicile depuis 1950. Depuis 2005, le stade porte le nom d'une entreprise immobilière et financière d'Emden, qui est sponsor des BSV Kickers. « Embden » est l'un des noms médiévaux d'Emden. De 1998 à 2005, le stade était nommé d'après l'ancien président Helmut Riedl dans le quartier de Früchteburg, auparavant il s'appelait simplement le stade des Kickers. De manière transitoire, les fans avaient également renommé le stade Deichkicker-Arena.
