La maison Morp est une désignation utilisée pour plusieurs bâtiments à Erkrath – à laquelle Morp appartient depuis 1929. Si c'est le cas, la désignation maison Morp devrait être utilisée pour le manoir de Morp. À Morp, de grandes parties sont des zones de paysage et de protection de la nature. La rue Düsseldorfer traverse cette zone dans l'axe ouest-est, tandis que le Mauspfad, un ancien chemin commercial qui existe depuis l'Antiquité, se trouve dans l'axe nord-sud. Au nord, elle est délimitée par les voies du chemin de fer rhénan, et au sud par celles du chemin de fer de Bergisch-Märkisch.
