La réserve naturelle du Schwarzlaichmoor est située dans le district de Weilheim-Schongau en Haute-Bavière, sur le territoire de la commune de Peiting.
La zone de 127,44 ha portant le numéro NSG-00057.01, qui a été placée sous la protection de la nature en 1951, s’étend au nord-ouest du village central de Hohenpeißenberg dans la commune de Hohenpeißenberg. Non loin au sud de la zone traversée par le Schwarzlaichbach coule la B 472.
