La Heiligenberg est une montagne de 439,1 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer, située entre les quartiers de Neuenheim et de Handschuhsheim à Heidelberg, et est, après le Königstuhl situé de l'autre côté du Neckar, la plus basse des deux montagnes de la ville.
À l'époque carolingienne, la Heiligenberg s'appelait Aberinsberg, avant de recevoir le nom de « Allerheiligen-Berg » après la colonisation des monastères Saint-Michel et Saint-Étienne en 1265 par des Prémontrés du monastère d'Allerheiligen dans la Forêt-Noire.
