Xert ou Chert est une commune d'Espagne de la province de Castellón dans la Communauté valencienne. Elle est située dans la comarque du Baix Maestrat et dans la zone à prédominance linguistique valencienne.
Elle est située en la haute vallée de la rambla de Cervera, dans le secteur occidental de la comarque. Elle est essentiellement montagneuse, dominée par les Moles de Xert, dont font partie la Redona, la Moleta et la Mola Murada ou Tormassal. Dans cette dernière sont exploitées des carrières de marbre jaspé.
