Valdepeñas est une commune d'Espagne de la province de Ciudad Real dans la communauté autonome de Castille-La Manche.
Son nom signifie "la Vallée de Roches", parce qu'elle est localisée dans un large méandre calcaire du Jabalón, un affluent du Guadiana, dans une plaine au nord de la Sierra Morena.
