Huelva est une ville située à l'extrême sud-ouest de l'Espagne, dans la communauté autonome d'Andalousie. Elle est la capitale d'une province qui porte son nom. À l'est, à 90 kilomètres, se trouve la ville de Séville, à l'ouest, à 50 kilomètres, la frontière du Portugal, au sud, l'océan Atlantique. En tant que capitale de province, Huelva accueille les principales structures de service public de niveau régional et national.
