Arrieta est une municipalité de la province de Biscaye, au Pays Basque. Son principal noyau de population est l'anteglise de Liban d'Arrieta.
Cette municipalité trouve son origine dans l'anteglise de Liban d'Arrieta, qui, au milieu du XIXe siècle, est devenue la municipalité actuelle suite à la réforme municipale. Dans certains des recensements du XIXe siècle, la municipalité apparaît sous la dénomination de Liban d'Arrieta-Anteglise.
