Carmona est une commune située dans la province de Séville de la communauté autonome d’Andalousie en Espagne.Cette ville édifiée par les Carthaginois, conquise par les Romains, elle s'est développée à l'époque d'Al-Andalus où elle était florissante, elle rejoint la couronne de Castille en 1247 puis s'enrichie grâce au commerce avec les Amériques.Ces cultures participent tous à la construction de la Porte de Séville qui garde les traces de ces transformations
