Langres est une commune française du département de la Haute-Marne, dont elle est l'une des deux sous-préfectures, en région Grand Est.Langres a donné son nom à une région traditionnelle qui avait le titre de comté et une coutume particulière à celle de Sens , ainsi qu'à un diocèse dont le titulaire avait depuis le XIIe siècle le titre de duc et pair de France.
