Pornichet [pɔʁniʃɛ] est une commune de l'Ouest de la France, située dans le département de la Loire-Atlantique, en région Pays de la Loire.Pornichet est devenue une commune en 1900, à partir de territoires de Saint-Nazaire et La Baule-Escoublac. Ses habitants, qui s'appellent les Pornichétins, sont au nombre de 10 709 selon le recensement de l'Insee de 2014.
