Le Castellard-Mélan, anciennement Le Castellard-Melan, est une commune française, située dans le département des Alpes-de-Haute-Provence en région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.Le village du Castellard est situé à 1 050 m d’altitude, dans la vallée du Graves. Le hameau de Mélan est situé sur un col donnant dans un vallon parallèle, les deux débouchant dans la vallée de Duyes.
