Plessala [plɛsala] est une ancienne commune française située dans le département des Côtes-d'Armor en région Bretagne, devenue, le 1er janvier 2016, une commune déléguée de la commune nouvelle du Mené.
Le nom de la localité est attesté sous les formes Parochia de Plesala en 1255, Plessala en 1274, Ploesala en 1305, Ecclesia de Plessala vers 1330, Ploessalla en 1441, Plexalla en 1480, Plessalla en 1514.
