Gétigné est une commune de l'Ouest de la France, située dans le département de la Loire-Atlantique, en région Pays de la Loire. Elle faisait partie des Marches de Bretagne-Poitou, et est située dans le Vignoble nantais. Elle forme avec trois communes contiguës l'unité urbaine de Clisson.Gétigné est située au bord de la Sèvre nantaise, à 4 km au sud-est de Clisson, 25 km au sud-est de Nantes, 28 km à l'ouest de Cholet, 68 km au sud-ouest d'Angers et à 47 km au nord-est de La Roche-sur-Yon.
