Grand-Champ [gʁɑ̃ ʃɑ̃] est une commune française située dans le département du Morbihan, en région Bretagne. Elle est le chef-lieu du canton de Grand-Champ.Le nom de la localité est mentionné sous la forme latine Grandi Campo en 1224, ancien lieu-dit de la paroisse de Plumergat, et fait sans doute référence à un camp romain d'une certaine importance.Le nom breton de la commune est Gregam, analysé en breton moderne comme un composé de ker et de kamm, littéralement « lieu du boiteux », en référence au roi Stevan, kamm et campus partagent un même étymon.
