Quéven [kevɛ̃] est une commune française, située dans le département du Morbihan en région Bretagne. Historiquement, elle fait partie du Pays vannetais et du Kemenet-Héboé.La commune est bordée à l'est par la ria du Scorff, un fleuve côtier breton et au nord par le Scave, un affluent de rive droite du Scorff, qui se jette dans ce dernier au niveau de sa ria ; le Ruisseau du Moulin de Kerrousseau, affluent de rive droite du Scave sert de limite avec Gestel. Au sud le Ter, un petit fleuve côtier, et son affluent le Laër, séparent Quéven de Lorient pour le premier cité, et de Ploemeur pour le second ; à l'ouest la partie amont de la Saudraye, un autre petit fleuve côtier, sert un temps de limite aec Guidel.
