Levens est une commune française située dans le département des Alpes-Maritimes, en région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
Le village est bâti à environ 25 km au nord de Nice sur une éminence rocheuse de calcaire jurassique ; il culmine à 600 m d’altitude au-dessus du confluent de trois cours d’eau : les deux rivières Estéron et Vésubie, et le fleuve côtier Var.
